Germany’s Green Party has chosen a trans-identified male member of parliament, Tessa Ganserer, to speak at an event highlighting women in politics. Ganserer, whose real name is Markus, was elected to Germany’s Bundestag in September 2021, taking a seat that was reserved for female political representation.
It makes you wonder what the Greens actually stand for these days! I remember when they were all about saving the Planet. They seem to have been distracted somewhat.

It’s almost as if the Green Party thinks the fight for the climate is over and done when actually it’s at the most critical moment. (Notwithstanding the threat of nuclear war…)
Absolutely shocking diversion of political firepower and strategy. We need a Green Party more than ever and globally they are throwing themselves and their legacy on the pyre of history.
