I am astonished from reading the TRA's article at Lesbian Nation...so much misogyny and male entitlement, it is a pain to read the article. "I belong among other womyn as surely as I need to sit down to pee" "I was more female than [these butch lesbians] were" It is clear that he despised so deeply women. The Transexual Menace were around in the late 80s, too. I remember the t shirts. They had started squatting on a patch of grass across the dirt road by the entrance to “The Land.” That way they could harass the line of cars and motorcycles (in my case) that were waiting to get inside. And, from what others have told me, they had been trying to bust into the women only space since the 70s. They were busting in, when I was there in the late 80s. And I witnessed one showering in the open shower, closest to the twilight zone, while all the women left as he “washed” one area for far too long. Disgusting pig.
