At the end of January, the UK’s Ministry of Justice announced updates to policies regarding male prisoners who identify as ‘transgender’ in response to increased public scrutiny over the placement of rapists in women’s prisons. The move came after a string of widely-publicized cases in Scotland involving sexual predators “identifying as” transgender.
According to the official announcement from the government, “transgender women who are in future sentenced to custody and have male genitalia or who have been convicted of sexual offences” may be prohibited from being transferred into or detained in the women’s estate.
Men are not women, even if they castrate themselves — whether surgically, chemically, or symbolically. Women are not castrated men. There can be no compromise on this position.
No man is entitled to women’s bodies or personhood. The belief that suffering constitutes an earned ‘right’ to women’s bodies and identity — via surgery or hormones — is underpinned by entitlement, and is a view that sustains all facets of the sex industry, including the prostitution and pornography industries, but also the surrogacy and the transsexual / transgender industries.
When women’s personhood is considered a purchasable commodity, we lose everything. We lose our right to self-determination and autonomy, but worse still, we become reconceptualized as less than human, as resources to be exploited.
I have written about many sexual predators for Reduxx. Over the past year, I have contributed more than 100 articles related to this issue. I have seen horrific erotica written by men with disturbing castration fantasies and reported on crimes committed by men with paraphilias.
It has been my observation that men who are preoccupied with self-mutilation and fetishistic body modification, especially genital mutilation, pose a significant threat to women regardless of their surgical status, as this compulsion can be symptomatic of a sexual pathology that is sadomasochistic in nature. The impulse towards this type of sadomasochism is often coupled with violent criminality.
Here are eight men who fit the model of the “true transsexual”, who have had “the surgery,” and are clear examples of why such men pose a significant threat to women.

1. Mark John Jones / Karen Jones / Karen Louise Lawson (England)
The case which paved the way for intact trans-identified males to be transferred to women’s prisons in the UK was launched by a convicted sex offender and murderer who was himself seeking to undergo genital surgery.
In 2001, a man named Mark Jones was jailed after the body of his sexual partner was found in their Manchester home. Jones admitted to suffocating and strangling 43-year-old partner Michael Cutler. He had wrapped Cutler’s body in a sheet and duvet, leaving the corpse in a utility room at their flat in Manchester in March 2000.
Three weeks later, the victim’s body was found, but was so badly decomposed by that time that a pathologist could not clearly ascertain the cause of death. When questioned, Jones told police he had changed his name to Karen Louise Lawson by deed poll.
Jones allegedly murdered the man after he refused to pay for his nail polish and transgender surgeries. He was sentenced to five years for manslaughter, but only served approximately half of that time in a prison for male offenders.
In 2002, five days after Lawson was released early on licence after being jailed for manslaughter, and while living in a female bail hostel, Jones attempted to rape a female shop assistant in Manchester.
Jones forced a lemon into the woman’s mouth, punched her in the face and held her by the hair in a back room of a shop called Transformation, which provides lingerie, estrogen, and silicone female prosthetics, including false breasts, false vulvas, and face masks. The attempted rape was so terrifying the woman told the police she thought she was going to die; the attack only ended when Jones failed to get an erection.
At the time, Jones claimed the attempted rape was a “cry for help” so he could go back to prison and recieve surgeries at taxpayers’ expense. While imprisoned, Jones recieved free laser hair removal, hormone replacement therapy, and a gender recognition certificate.
Sentencing Jones to life after the sexual assault, Judge Derwent Hope said “Until you have full and proper treatment, I consider you to be potentially an extremely serious risk to any member of the public you associate with, a risk that could easily lead to that person’s death.” Jones was added to the sex offenders’ register for life.
Jones ultimately demanded transfer to a women’s prison, but his male genitals made the move impossible at the time. Likewise, he was denied a vagina construction because he was housed in the male estate. The rules resulted in Jones launching a judicial review in 2009, and consideration of the double-bind situation would become the legal premise for the decisive ruling which would later enable fully “intact” men to seek transfer to women’s prisons.
Michael Biggs, in a paper titled The Transition from Sex to Gender in English Prisons: Human Rights and Queer Theory, “analyses the gradual erasure of sex in the prison system in England and Wales.” Biggs cites Jones’ case and explains that there was a three-step “succession of criteria” put into place which allowed for the allocating of males to women’s prisons: first genital surgery, then legal sex, and finally, a subjective and self-determined gender identity.
“When clinicians decreed that the prerequisite for genital surgery—living as a woman—could be met only in a women’s prison, then it naturally followed that
male prisoners desiring genital surgery had to be transferred before surgery. This landmark legal ruling put the first rapist into a women’s prison in 2009. In response, the prison service introduced the criterion of legal sex, which an individual could now change due to the Gender Recognition Act of 2004,” Biggs wrote.
Following the judgement on Jones’ case in 2011, prison sex-segregation criteria was reduced from genitalia to legal documentation – meaning any male who legally changed his gender marker was able to request transfer.
Jones was eventually transferred to a women’s institution and received genital surgery. Shortly after, he was released from prison once again as a parole board decided a life sentence for his crimes wasn’t appropriate.
In 2018, Jones was invited to the House of Lords to speak on expanding rights for transgender inmates and criminals.
2. Harvey Marcelin / Marceline Harvey (United States)
Harvey Marcelin, 84, who identifies as a transgender lesbian and uses the name Marceline Harvey, was arrested on March 4, 2022 for the murder of Susan Leyden, 68. He is currently detained and awaiting trial in the Rose M. Singer Center, a women’s facility at Rikers Island.
Prior to Leyden’s murder, Marcelin had been interacting with her in a shelter for women, shortly after he was released from prison in 2019. He was also using her own photo as his profile picture on social media.
Marcelin had been granted entry to a women’s shelter where Leyden resided, despite objections from the staff responsible for shelter intake. Anne Brennan, a nurse who oversees the intake of residents, told The New York Times that she had objected to Harvey being allowed entry to the women’s section of the shelter where Leyden resided — particularly in light of his long record of violence against women — yet her concerns were ignored by her supervisors.
“Apparently his feelings and identity were far more important than all the other women that were terrified of him,” Brennan said.
Another woman who spoke out about Marcelin’s presence at a short-term housing alternative for elderly residents filed a lawsuit last year claiming her employment was terminated after she expressed concerns.
Monica Archer told The New York Post that Marcelin “made constant threats to kill” Archer and other personnel, and was permitted to keep a gun on the premises.
Marcelin had also reportedly begun following Archer after she left work for the evening, causing the social worker to become so frightened that she began using alternative routes to commute after work.
Leyden’s headless torso was found by a passerby in a shopping cart blocks away from Marcelin’s apartment on March 3, prompting police to question Marcelin on the gruesome discovery. Marcelin was well-known to police as a murderer, having been convicted in the brutal deaths of two other women on two separate occasions. In 1963, Marcelin had been convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend. In 1986, just two years after being paroled, he stabbed a woman to death. Marcelin was paroled again in 2019.
Marcelin was arrested after witnesses reported seeing him leaving his apartment with Leyden’s floral shopping bag and CCTV footage was reviewed confirming Leyden had entered, but never left, Marcelin’s apartment building.
A search warrant executed at Marcelin’s apartment turned up Leyden’s decapitated head.
A 1963 psychiatric examination conducted by three doctors at Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital concluded Marcelin had “schizoid personality with sociopathic features” but was not deemed criminally insane nor psychotic. A hospital record from 1962 suggested he may have had “delusional grandiosity,” “suggestions of chronic schizophrenia” and “paranoid reaction personality.”
Prior to Leyden’s grisly homicide, Marcelin had been incarcerated for more than five decades on two separate murder convictions for the brutal homicides of women – the first in 1963, and the second in 1985.
A jury found Marcelin guilty of murder in 1963 for fatally shooting his girlfriend Jacqueline Bonds inside a Manhattan apartment. At the time, Marcelin was also facing an attempted rape charge involving another woman, and Bonds had been scheduled to appear before a grand jury considering the case.
In April, Marcelin stated that he had killed Bonds out of jealousy. “She was very popular,” he said. “And I had images of her just being nice to somebody else. Yeah, sexually, you know. She was beautiful. I didn’t want anyone else to have her.”
He was found guilty of first-degree murder and received a sentence of 20 years to life, and was released in May 1984.
On the morning of October 30, 1985, Marcelin was seen pushing a shopping cart that contained a garbage bag. Witness Robert Romano told law enforcement, “The bag ripped on the first step and blood came out.” A second witness spoke of discovering the bag later and discovered a pair of women’s legs inside, bound with rope.
The victim was identified as Anna Laura Serrera Miranda, 29, in police records. Miranda had a string of prostitution arrests and a heroin habit, according to parole board reports. She had been stabbed repeatedly, tied up with a rope, before being wrapped in plastic. Marcelin told parole officers that he wanted to be a pimp and that Miranda lived with him occasionally, and later told a Manhattan judge that she had been late with the rent.
“I was very nice to her but then she’d go out for two or three days and I didn’t know what she was doing,” he said.
Marcelin was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to six to 12 years in prison.
State officials expressed concern over granting parole when Marcelin became eligible in the 1990s. During one State Parole Board hearing in 1997, Marcelin admitted to having “problems” with women, according to court records. Other boards had rejected parole citing Marcelin’s “attempt to place the blame” on the victims. He was released on August 7, 2019.
Marcelin described his male “side” as a “pimp” and blamed his female victims for inciting him to violence. “I tell them — there’s a side of me you don’t want to see… but they don’t listen,” he told The New York Post.
When asked about his tendency to erupt in a violent rage, Marcelin said his outbursts felt “liberating” as he could let his “macho side come out”. He went on to say that he “[covers] it up by being a woman” because he doesn’t like his “male rage.”
“Harvey’s not a good guy, he’s a tough guy,” Marcelin said, “Marceline’s nice and gentle and loving, you know, lots of laughter, fun to be with. She’s the one who’s perfectly normal.”
3. David Warfield / Dana Rivers (United States)
Dana Rivers, born David Chester Warfield, who identifies as transgender and as a lesbian, was arrested on the evening of November 11, 2016, after police received reports of gunshots being fired.
When authorities arrived, they found Rivers soaked in blood, holding a gasoline canister, and fleeing from the house, which had been set on fire. In Rivers’ possession were knives, ammunition, and brass knuckles. The bodies of Charlotte Reed, Patricia Wright, and Benny Diambu-Wright were found inside the burning wreckage. Rivers was quickly taken into custody and booked at an Alameda County jail.
According to police reports, Rivers “began to make spontaneous statements about [his] involvement in the murders” while being arrested. Rivers ultimately confessed to killing the two lesbian women and their son, but entered a plea of not guilty on charges of triple homicide in 2017.
After a lengthy delay in court proceedings, Rivers was finally convicted in November 2022 of murder in the first degree for the 2016 slayings. For years, while awaiting trial, Rivers was housed in the female prison estate, and is expected to be placed in a women’s prison to serve his sentence.
Prior to the murders, Rivers was a prominent trans activist known for fighting against “gender discrimination.”
Rivers became known in 1999 after he was fired from Center High School in Sacramento County, California, for openly discussing his “sexuality and the importance of gender self-determination” in class with students.
According to a 1999 article in The New York Times, one parent stated that “[Rivers] said he had been sodomized as a youth and that he always felt he was a woman trapped in a man’s body and that he was going to be changing into a woman in the fall. He should have gotten permission from the parents to say this.”
Prior to his career as an activist, Rivers had been a notable participant in Camp Trans, an organization which was created in protest of a women-only event Rivers’ victims were frequent attendees of.
Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival (MWMF), colloquially known as MichFest, was formed in 1976 by Lisa Vogel and was staffed, organized, and supervised exclusively by women.
In 1991, MichFest adopted a controversial “womyn-born-womyn” policy, and became harshly condemned by leading gay and lesbian organizations as a result. It was also targeted for harassment by trans-identified males who opposed the single-sex nature of the space. Shortly after, Camp Trans was founded by one of the men who had been ejected from the festival on the basis of the policy.
According to women who attended MichFest, Camp Trans would “establish itself on adjacent land, apparently for the sole purpose of harassing and threatening” festival-goers. The aggression became so egregious that the U.S. Forestry Service eventually began refusing to grant Camp Trans permits to set up out of fear of repeated altercations.
In 1994, Camp Trans staged a protest across the road from the entrance to MichFest. Camp Trans dissolved for five years, but was revived in 1999 and called “Son of Camp Trans” by the organizers, who labeled themselves ‘The Transsexual Menace.’
Their mission, according to the founders, was “to educate the attendees of Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival about the ‘womyn-born- womyn only’ policy with the end goal of broadening that policy to include ALL self-identified womyn.”
Rivers was confirmed to have been attending the new iteration of Camp Trans in 2000 in a report by a local news outlet at the time: “More than 60 gender activists from these groups plus members of Transsexual Menace, supportive attendees, and renowned activist Dana Rivers gathered across the road from the Festival this year to do outreach and education on what they viewed as a discriminatory policy being unfairly applied.”
Camp Trans continued its campaign against MichFest and its attendees, at one point distributing disturbing flyers which read “real women have cocks” and called the lesbian feminists “cunts.” But the group was ultimately dissolved in 2013, and MichFest would meet its own end in 2015 following continued aggression from the wider LGBT community who labelled them “transphobic.”
Rivers had attempted to coerce the event’s staff to allow him in, as evidenced by an article he wrote in 2000 for Lesbian Nation titled, “Room for All Kinds of Womyn” in which he admonished MichFest organizer Vogel and described his participation in Camp Trans.
“I am a womyn. A womyn-born-womyn. I also happen to be a trans-womyn, one who lost her job as a California high school teacher when I came out,” Rivers wrote. “I’ve felt first hand the sting of the patriarchy that the [Michigan Women’s Music Festival] purports to hold at bay for a blessed week. I belong among other womyn as surely as I need to sit down to pee.”
Describing his attempt to enter MichFest, Rivers continued: “I stood there, ready to declare that I met the womyn-born-womyn criteria. In my heart I know this to be true. My mother and daughter and lesbian lover know that this is who I am.”
Rivers compared himself to lesbian women at the festival, stating that although they had been “born with vaginas … it was obvious to me and to them that I was more female than they were.”
In 2002, Rivers was a keynote speaker for the National Center for Lesbian Rights as well as for The Tiffany Club, an organization founded to promote the political interests of those with “gender confusion.”
Prior to the murders, Rivers also spoke as a guest lecturer at several universities, including Stanford and UC Davis, and served as a Board Member for the International Foundation for Gender Education (IFGE).
4. Perry Cerf / Michelle Hel-Loki Angelina (United States)
Perry Cerf, 39, was arrested for the sadistic rape and murder of 47-year-old Ecuadorian immigrant Flor Andrade in 2002. Cerf, who now goes by the name Michelle Hel-loki Angelina, was wearing his victim’s clothes and utilizing her identification when he was found by police.
While awaiting trial, Cerf penned a letter to The New York Daily News confessing to the crime and boasted of drinking the woman’s blood.
“The truth about my case?” he wrote. “Yeah, I killed her. I punched and kicked her to death, crushing her skull in the process. One of the kicks landed in such a way that it broke her neck and all of a sudden her head was on backward.”
His letter continued: “Since I have a most unusual taste for blood, I drank and licked and lapped up my fill … Let it be known: I am Lucifer’s Maiden servant, sent to earth born of sin, to bring suffering and pain, darkness and evil.”
As reported by The Record of Hakensack, Cerf bragged in graphic detail about the brutality he had inflicted on Andrade, and said he drank her blood “so I could allow this person to live vicariously through myself.”
Speaking to local news The Record in 2005, Cerf said he had no regrets about murdering Andrade. “Personally, I don’t like to say I regret things that I’ve done,” he said, concluding: “I feel bad because I got caught.”
During his trial for the 2002 murder of Andrade, prosecutors initially offered Cerf a 40-year sentence if he pleaded guilty to rape and murder. However, Cerf told authorities he didn’t want to enter prison on a sex-related charge and accepted a 50-year sentence to avoid a rape conviction.
“Going to prison on a sex charge would be a safety concern for me,” Cerf said.
Cerf, who had on occasion attempted to castrate himself while incarcerated, was quietly transferred to the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in New Jersey within the past few years, where he has been permitted to mingle with women in the general population. Last year, Cerf married a female inmate, and the pair have been terrorizing women incarcerated in EMCF.
Prior to being transferred to the women’s prison, he was being held among other men at New Jersey State Prison, where Cerf assaulted inmates and at one point was placed in solitary confinement for 23 hours each day. He had initially been placed in the mental health ward but was moved because of “aberrant behavior” against others.
Cerf has a long history of committing violence against women. During his childhood, Cerf would batter his adoptive mother, Mary, and at one point threatened to kill her. As a youth he spent time in state custody for a variety of crimes, including sexual assault and violation of probation. He also admitted to lying to counselors about having been sexually abused as a child “to get attention.”
In 2005, he told his prison psychiatrist, Dr. Marina Moshkovich, that he wanted to murder the Associate Administrator Michelle Ricci by breaking her neck, hitting her in the head, beating her up, and choking her.
He had also grabbed his psychiatrist by the hair and attempted to beat her. He was served with a disciplinary report for threatening another person and for assault, and for fifteen other offenses which were ultimately either dismissed or for which he was found not guilty. During this same year, Cerf began to identify as transgender.
5. Thomas Lamb / Michelle Renee Lamb (United States)
Thomas Preston Lamb, 81, now uses the name Michelle Renee Lamb and is described as “female” in the state Criminal Justice Information System. Lamb was transferred to Topeka Correctional Facility, the state’s only prison for women, on January 27, 2023, in a reversal from a 2017 court decision.
Lamb was convicted of kidnapping and murdering Karen Sue Kemmerly, a 24 year-old student at the University of Kansas-Missouri, around December 5, 1969. He was also convicted for the abduction of 18-year-old Patricia Ann Childs, which he committed the month after the killing.
Lamb murdered Kemmerly after she commented he was a “handsome man,” which sent him into a violent rage as he saw himself as a woman. Lamb strangled the woman to death, and left her nude corpse in a cornfield. He would later be found in possession of her clothing.
After killing Kemmerly, Lamb abducted 18-year-old Patricia Ann Childs on January 15, 1970. Childs was returned to her family after her father paid out a $3,500 ransom demanded by Lamb. During the ordeal, Lamb bound Childs’ hands and raped her, according to court documents, though he was never formally charged for the sexual assault.
Lamb was ultimately convicted of two counts of kidnapping and one count of first degree murder, and is now serving three consecutive life sentences in prison. While in prison, Lamb began going by Michelle Renee Lamb, and in 2007, filed for a legal name change, court records reveal.
The killer’s mother, Hazel Irene Lamb, told prosecutors she had found women’s undergarments in her son’s dresser beginning from the time he was about ten years old. “I found my panties I had discarded in the rag bag in his dresser drawer,” she said, and noted that similar instances had occurred often.
Prior to his criminal behavior, Lamb had been honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy because he was deemed “not suitable” and there was “evidence of significant psycho-sexual confusion.”
A psychiatrist who evaluated Lamb in 1965 after his first conviction for theft stated that his obsession with women’s clothing was “central to his legal difficulties.” Dr. Hector Cavallin testified that Lamb, then 25 years old, had committed a burglary with the intent of using the stolen money to buy more clothing. Lamb, Cavallin said, “had a severe emotional disturbance,” and his tranvestic fetish was “one manifestation of his illness.”
When describing details leading up to the killing, Lamb told Cavallin that he strangled Kemmerly after “the girl told him he was a handsome man.”
“But he didn’t want to be handsome, he wanted to be pretty,” the psychiatrist said, adding that Kemmerly had an intimate relationship with Lamb and told him he was “very capable sexually.” Both comments, the doctor testified, infuriated Lamb “because he wanted to be a woman.”
Cavallin further explained that Lamb showed “no evidence of homosexual practices or wish for homosexuality.” Lamb told the psychiatrist that he found same-sex attracted individuals “repugnant.”
Lamb was given “female undergarments” by the Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) while incarcerated, with the intimate clothing described as “therapeutic for Lamb’s gender dysphoria.” He has also been provided with estrogen and testosterone-blocking drugs.
In a 2017 motion filed by Lamb against the KDOC, he alleged that his Eighth Amendment rights against cruel and unusual punishment were being violated. The convicted killer demanded “more comprehensive treatment of her gender dysphoria, access to more female items in prison, recognition of her name change, and transfer to a female-only prison facility.”
Further accommodations requested by Lamb included “castration surgery; genital sex reassignment surgery; female voice therapy, electrolysis, and/or laser hair removal.” To support his position, Lamb cited guidelines published by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).
Though Lamb’s 2017 request to the female estate was denied, he was quietly transferred to a women’s prison at the start of this year.
6. Adam Laboucan / Tara Desousa (Canada)
Adam Laboucan, also known as Tara Desousa, raped an infant and confessed to killing a child. Despite the horrific nature of his crimes, he was transferred to the Fraser Valley Institution for Women in Abbotsford, and is housed next to a Mother-Child Program residence, where female inmates say he has been “staring” at the children to “antagonize” the women.
In 1997, when Adam Laboucan was 15 years old, he sexually assaulted a three-month-old baby boy in Quesnel, B.C., while he was babysitting. The infant was so brutally injured that he had to be flown to Vancouver to undergo reconstructive surgery.
After committing the violent crime, Laboucan "mutilated himself and ate his own flesh", according to news reports. Laboucan now uses the name Tara Desousa, and was quietly transferred to Fraser Valley Institution for Women in Abbotsford, B.C., as evidenced by a personals ad he placed on match-making website Canadian Inmates Connect some time around 2018.
“I am a transgender woman and I was born a man but now after surgery I became a full woman,” Laboucan reportedly wrote on his profile. “I have a vagina, not a penis, and also have 720ccs DD gel implants.”
Laboucan was handed an indeterminate prison sentence in 1999 and at the age of 17, was declared the nation's youngest criminally violent sex offender. Due to the nature of his crimes, Justice Victor Curtis agreed to imprison him indefinitely.
During the trial, expert witnesses stated that Laboucan "displays everything from transsexual to pedophilic tendencies". A forensic psychiatrist who examined Laboucan testified that even he believed himself to be a danger to the public. "He said he was not planning a life of crime, but he felt he had no way to control the flood of violent, murderous fantasies," Dr. Ian Postnikoff told the B.C. Supreme Court.
"While in custody, he would turn them against himself, but this high level of self-mutilation, almost self cannibalization, could be turned against other, weaker individuals, with possibly fatal consequences," Postnikoff added.
Postnikoff further detailed how he met with Laboucan several times at the Youth Containment Centre in Prince George after the youth was convicted in 1997 on sexual assault charges. While in custody, Laboucan chewed on his wrists, resulting in serious self-mutilation.
"He said that biting himself tended to ease the anger and frustration," Postnikoff said during court proceedings. "In one instance, he chewed on his arm for 30 minutes, ingesting fat and muscle tissue."
During a 1999 interview with the Quesnel Cariboo Observer, Laboucan’s foster mother, Renata Wilbur, said that he would often have dreams about making another child his slave and forcing the boy to dress in “girl’s clothes.”
7. Matthew Ralf Harks / Madilyn Harks (Canada)
Matthew Harks, who identifies as a woman and uses the name Madilyn Harks, is a serial pedophile who has been described as having “all-encompassing preoccupation in sexually abusing young girls.” Authorities believe he targeted at least 60 victims before being charged for approximately 200 offenses related to sexual abuse.
Harks was convicted three times for sexual assaults against girls under the age of eight. According to parole documents, Harks was diagnosed as a pedophile with a “preference” for girls aged between five and eight years old.
He was also observed to have taken “trophies” from his victims. Though it is not clearly stated in news reports what this refers to, other cases of serial sexual predators have involved the theft of clothing and undergarments.
The first time police caught the serial pedophile after a string of sexual assaults against preschool-aged girls in B.C., he was only handed a few months of house arrest.
After being granted parole, Harks quickly targeted and sexually assaulted a seven-year-old girl by befriending her mother and grooming the child with candy. He was handed a three-year prison sentence in 2007. After Harks was freed againhe was rejailed within a week after being caught with pornography.
While incarcerated in 2014, Harks began claiming a female identity. He was subsequently transferred to a women’s prison, but because of his aggressive behavior, has been shuffled around Canada’s female prison estate, terrorizing inmates.
According to women’s rights advocate and former inmate Heather Mason, Harks underwent genital surgery, yet continues to abuse women. “Male behavior and impulses do not leave if you have the surgery, and that is quite evident with this person,” she said.
8. Douglas Robert Perry / Donna Rebecca Perry (United States)
Donna Rebecca Perry, born Douglas Robert Perry, murdered three prostituted women in a four-month timeframe in 1990. Despite this, he is currently being housed at the Washington Correctional Center for Women after securing a transfer under self-identification laws.
Yolanda Sapp, 26, Nicki Lowe, 34, and Kathleen Brisbois, 38, were all murdered with a gun and their naked bodies were found disposed near the Spokane River.
Perry avoided suspicion following the heinous murders, and fled to Thailand in 2000 to undergo gender reassignment surgeries, after which he successfully concealed his identity for years.
It wasn’t until a 2012 DNA test following a conviction for illegal firearms possession that Perry was forensically connected to all three women’s murders.
While Perry was only convicted of the three murders, he claims to have killed nine prostituted women total. In 1998, during a prison stint for an unrelated charge, Perry allegedly told a fellow inmate that he wanted to kill prostitutes “because [he] couldn’t breed and the women had the ability to have children [but] they were wasting it being “pond scum.”
During the trial proceedings, prosecutors contended that Perry had only undergone his gender changes to avoid suspicion for the murders and shirk justice. This was in part fueled by the fact Perry referred to his “male” and “female” identities in separate contexts, accusing his “male” side of having committed the crimes while his “female” identity was innocent of them.
In May 2021, a whistleblower at the Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW) revealed that Perry had been transferred to the women’s estate. He now appears on the inmate roster for WCCW.
Yes, as the ex-wife of a man who did the "whole nine yards" I tell you, they are not stable and not "cured." Here's a factoid Dr. Stephen B. Levine brought out in his recent Florida testimony: the suicide rate of females who had ''masculinizing surgeries" 10 to 20 years before was 40 TIMES higher than the control group. When the study was published, they collapsed the natal males and natal females records together, so the suicide rate for both was 'only' 19 times higher than the control group. This demonstrates how studies rarely consider females as a class and how addled the researchers were, as they used "gender" instead of sex frequently, such that the groups of subjects were scrambled. And that's the most reliable longitudinal study we have, from death records, with a reasonable N = for number of subjects. Here's a link to the Stephen B. Levine testimony.

"he'd rather die than be male" isn't good enough to infringe on women's rights. I'm so disgusted by this clear woman-hate, and people-hate, really. Let this mentally ill man invade female spaces, let us make that money, let these people need multiple surgeries, let's spend that energy and resources on unnecessary medical procedures... They are fine with Hell on Earth so long as they're paid.
