A politically connected pro-pedophile activist group in Germany is demanding lesbians be removed from an exhibit at Berlin’s Gay Museum due to their historical opposition to pederasty. Krumme-13 is protesting the Museum, claiming that lesbians “submitted in every way to the anti-pedophile zeitgeist of the heterosexual mainstream.”

1. It is important to NEVER use the word "gay" to refer to lesbians, or to oneself as a lesbian. We should never use a term that is sometimes specific to males as a supposedly "universal" term for males and females. It disappears or excludes females and our experiences and perspectives, while centering and only including males' experiences and perspectives. This applies to the term "gay" used inaccurately to refer to "lesbians and gays."
The lesbians working at that museum should change the name of it to the "Lesbian and Gay Museum."
When referring to both lesbians and gays, we need to always say or write "lesbians and gays", or use a term that isn't specific to men, such as "homosexuals."
Otherwise, gay males' experiences and perspectives get "universalized" to lesbians.
2. Lesbians need to create lesbians-only groups again, that specifically do not include or allow males, or male intruders who claim they're "women" or "lesbians." Lesbians who don't like this should not be allowed, and encouraged to create their own groups that welcome men.
Otherwise, all women-only, or lesbian-only groups get pressured by some women in them to let in men, and then we end up with no women-only groups or spaces. If some women don't want women-only groups, instead of attacking those groups and ruining them for women who do want women-only groups, they should be told to just go start their own groups that welcome men and pretend-men.
Krumme13 has been disbanded in 2003 and was never able to register as an "eingetragener Verein" (official association). Since then, the founder Gieseking continues to host a website with this name which has been deleted before but he just creates a new one.
It is on this website that he published these ramblings about the "Schwules Museum".
He is a guy who has been abused as a child and claims it was a "positive experience" for him.
The "distribution of pornography" he was convicted for, was a badly written story published on the website that appeared to be autobiographical and told the abuse of a 11yo boy from the boy's perspective.
His petition to the Bundetag is to add the single phrase "Das Wohl des Kindes steht im Vordergrund." ("The well-being of the child is paramount.") to the German constitution. That's all. There are 71 signatories. You can also submit a petition to the Bundestag. If the content makes sense it will be accepted. As there is nothing objectionable about this petition it was accepted.

The sordid history of pedophiles fighting for mainstream acceptance as part of the gay movement is very interesting. It serves as a warning how social justice movements can get out of hand and the unacceptable is promoted under the umbrella of acceptance.

I'm a gay man who came out in the 80s in California and spent most of my twenties in ultra-liberal Portland where I got involved in the AIDS activism group ACT-UP. In all my decades as an out gay man, I've never heard any of my fellow gays champion pedophilia in any way. If this happens at all, it's a fringe phenomenon, far from the reality of mainstream gay life, at least in the states. It will be ashame if readers of this post are nudged to associate pedophilia with homosexuality.
