The Pedophilic Roots of Gender Identity
My speech for CAWSBAR IWD Montreal
The following is the transcript of my speech delivered at the Canadian Women’s Sex-Based Rights Conference in Montreal for International Women’s Day 2026.
My name is Genevieve Gluck and I am the co-founder of Reduxx, a news platform that I launched with my partner and editor Anna Slatz in January 2022. Anna was expected to be here today, but unfortunately had to step back due to illness.
When Anna and I launched Reduxx it was because we saw there was a major gap in the media space with respect to accurate reporting on the impact of gender ideology. I’m sure most of you remember, but at the time, accurate information on this subject was sparse.
At best, people following this subject could occasionally expect Daily Mail articles where transgender rapists were referred to with “she/her” pronouns, or ridiculous terms like “her penis” were used.
But comprehensive, high-quality tracking and investigative reporting was largely non-existent outside of Substacks and Twitter accounts where women desperately tried to bring attention to what was happening.
So from the beginning, our goal was clear.
We wanted to be a woman-run platform dedicated to exposing the impact of gender ideology on women and children. The way Anna described it was that we were making the ammo in a war for truth. We would write incredibly well-substantiated articles, packed with information and undeniable truths to make sure your weapons were always loaded and you had what you needed to fight back.
Since then, we’ve published over 1,800 articles - hundreds of which were exclusives that made international waves and directly promoted change. We’ve been cited in Supreme Court cases, prompted the resignation of politicians and even Olympic officials, been translated into multiple different languages, and worked with women and families all over the world to publish their stories about the damage gender ideology has wrought on them.
The mainstream media tries its best to ignore us, but often quietly relies on us for news on this subject.
Trans activists have threatened us and called us all kinds of slurs - but they’ve never been able to call us liars.
Over the past four years, we have addressed a variety of issues, including male participation in female sports, the influence of pornography on gender identity practices, the abuses of female inmates by trans-identifying male inmates, and many instances of trans-identifying men filing lawsuits against women or facilities in an attempt to force compliance with their demands.
In addition, we have published exclusive reports exposing connections between the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and both pro-pedophile academics and convicted pedophiles.
To be clear, WPATH is regarded as an international authority on what they call transgender healthcare, and they publish Standards of Care aimed at guiding the medical establishment on transsexual matters such as the use of cross-sex hormones, surgeries, and the medical “transitioning” of minors.
Since 2022, we have published a series of investigative research on this topic, beginning with a long-standing link between WPATH and anonymous men involved in a pedophilic castration fetish forum known as the Eunuch Archive. Forum members maintained a fiction section which consisted of their own written erotica dealing with themes of forcible surgical castration, chemical castration via drugs, cannibalism, genital mutilation, and pedophilia.
The most popular stories in the Eunuch Archive involved the forcible castration of young boys, who would then be turned into sexual slaves for adult men.
In December 2021, WPATH released to the public a draft version of the 8th edition of their Standards of Care. In their guidelines, they revealed that they had been taken guidance from the anonymous men participating in the Eunuch Archive forum with the assistance of a professor emeritus of CalState University, Dr. Thomas Johnson.
Dr. Johnson, a WPATH member since at least 2009, and an academic who has spoken at the organization’s conferences, gathered information from the anonymous forum members which he published as research for WPATH’s academic journal, The International Journal of Transgenderism. Johnson also used the opinions of forum members when acting as a lead on a chapter in WPATH’s SOC8 on a “eunuch gender identity.”
Johnson was himself a forum administrator and founding member, having been involved with this community for over two decades. And we also learned, by discovering his username of “Jesus,” that Johnson had influenced some of the stories.
One notable example is a story titled “Larry,” which is prefaced as being an “original nightmare by Jesus.” The story is written in an imaginary future where the law allows any adult to “sell himself or herself, or any parent to sell a child over the age of 10.”
The story’s narrator is a pedophilic slave trader who buys “attractive” children from destitute mothers following the abolition of government assistance. Not even halfway into the story, a 10-year-old child is put in chains and iron restraints before being castrated without anesthetic.
Dr. Johnson said he was personally invited to contribute to WPATH’s Standards of Care by one of its former presidents, Dr. Eli Coleman at the University of Minnesota.
We also revealed that a founding member of the Eunuch Archive was a man named Thomas Pidel, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison after he was discovered to have been involved in a pedophile ring. Pidel, who described himself as a “boy lover,” was active in multiple Usenet groups dedicated to pedophilia activism and castration fetishism in the years just before his arrest in 2004.
While this discovery was shocking enough in its own right, WPATH’s connections to pedophilia activism, especially in regards to relationships with boys and adult men, are far more entrenched than this.
Reduxx revealed that a prominent Norwegian psychologist with connections to WPATH was previously associated with multinational pro-pedophile groups which lobbied for lowering the age of consent. Thore Langfeldt assisted in the organizing of a 2009 WPATH conference in Oslo that focused on gender identity and children.
Academics from the Eunuch Archive forum were in attendance at this 2009 conference. They advocated for depathologizing what was then called “gender identity disorder” in favor of more neutral terms such as “gender incongruence” or “gender dysphoria.”
In regards to Langfeldt, the psychologist and sex researcher repeatedly worked alongside pro-pedophilia academics who similarly advanced the view that children are sexual from an early age.
During the 1970s and 80’s, Langfeldt wrote extensively about “child sexuality” and positively conveyed case studies of pedophilic relationships. His attempts sought to portray adult-child sexual contact as normal and non-pathological.
In 1977, Langfeldt reportedly attended a symposium which included the topic of pedophilia held in Swansea, Wales.
Prominent academics from the Americas and various European countries turned up at the Love and Attraction symposium. Among the attendees were several men involved in pro-pedophilia activism in the United States, England, and the Netherlands. One such academic was Tom O’Carroll, founder of England’s notorious Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE).
Significantly, at the time of his attendance at the conference, Langfeldt had already been working with the Norwegian pro-pedophile organization called the Pedophile Working Group (Pedofil Arbeidsgruppe – NAFP).
NAFP was established at the University of Oslo in 1975, where the group had registered a post office box – and where Langfeldt was specializing in psychology. The mysterious president of the NAFP, a man identified in the press only as “Lecturer E,” or, perhaps a pun on the word “mystery,” wrote a letter in collaboration with Langfeldt in 1975, - assuming he was not Langfeldt himself - requesting that the Ministry of Justice alter the the criminal code to lower the legal age of consent from 16 to 14 years old.
The letter also argued that sex offender sentencing ought to be based on the degree of abusive violence rather than on age differences.
Interestingly, over the course of his career as a psychologist, sex offender therapist, and recognized academic, Langfeldt has been called as an expert witness to defend men accused of pedophilic desires and acts.
In 1978, the NAFP would host its first major conference, and Langfeldt was among the presenters.
Following his campaigning for relaxed attitudes to pedophilia, Langfeldt began to show an interest in the issue of “gender identity,” and, in 1982, he even took a trip to the United States to visit the University of Minnesota, which had been operating a gender identity clinic since 1966.
Can you guess who was working at the University of Minnesota in 1982?
It was prominent WPATH leader Eli Coleman — the sexologist who worked with the Eunuch Archive academics.
That very same year, Langfeldt co-founded the Norwegian Association for Clinical Sexology (NFKS – Norsk forening for klinisk sexologi) alongside Elsa Almås, the wife of Esben ‘Esther Pirelli’ Benestad, the nation’s most prominent trans activist.
Benestad was listed as a WPATH gender clinician on the organization’s website until just recently, after his medical license was suspended by the Norwegian Health Authority (NHA) over concerns that he was privately dispensing puberty-blocking drugs and hormones to minors. Notably, Benestad has referred to pedophilia as “pedosexuality.”
Langfeldt has acted as the president of The Harry Benjamin Resource Centre Europe (Harry Benjamin Resursseter – HBRS), a German-American sexologist after whom WPATH was originally named. According to its website, the HBRS was founded in the year 2000 after Norway’s only “gender identity” clinic, located at Rikshospitalet, was set to be closed.
In 2009, Langfeldt, along with other leading figures involved in the HBRS, organized a pivotal WPATH conference in Oslo, where he presented on the topic of “The Child in the Discourse of Transsexualism.” According to the abstract, Langfeldt’s lecture used “cases from the shemale movements and pornography to question the medical discourse and its power in forming the child into a suitable medical diagnosis.”
In another investigation linking WPATH to pedophile activism, we discovered that a pioneering sexologist and academic involved in a leadership position at WPATH, had served on the editorial team for a pro-pedophile academic publication which advocated for the normalization of adult-child sexual relations.
Over the course of several months, Reduxx was able to purchase archival documents from a university library - thanks to the financial contributions from our supporters.
Dr. Vern L. Bullough maintained correspondences with a leading member, and former attorney for, the North American Man Boy Love Association, or NAMBLA.
Attorney Lawrence Stanley was a member of the steering committee for NAMBLA, which advocated for relaxing laws regarding sexual activity between men and boys. Stanley also published a newsletter titled “Uncommon Desires,” which focused on pedophilic relationships between adult men and young girls.
Vern Bullough was the founding director of the Center for Sex Research at Cal State, Northridge, where he organized international conferences on prostitution, pornography, and gender identity. The university now has a clinic offering “gender-affirming care.”
Bullough also had ties to a California-based pedophile activist group known as the Childhood Sensuality Circle, which lobbied for the abolition of age of consent laws.
In 1973, Vern Bullough was the first speaker to present at a conference organized by the sexology-based group that would become the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).
Bullough’s lecture on “Transsexualism in the Past” came directly after an introduction by sexologist John Money, his colleague, who pioneered the development of the concept of “gender identity” and medical “transition.”
John Money was instrumental in the development of gender identity clinics, which first began to appear at universities in the 1960’s, as a direct result of his theory that sex is socially constructed.
One of the very first gender clinics, the Gender Identity Clinic at Johns Hopkins, founded in 1966, was co-founded by John Money.
Infamously, John Money also advocated for pedophilic relations with boys, and experimented on two twin boys, the Reimer twins, and in his attempt to raise one of the boys as a girl, he would instruct the brothers to engage in “copulation play” while he photographed them.
John Money, who pioneered research on “gender identity”, sexually abused children and said, “If I were to see... a boy aged ten or eleven who’s intensely erotically attracted toward a man... if the relationship is mutual, I would not call it pathological.”
In 1963 John Money was granted $205,000, today’s equivalent of $2 million, by the US government’s National Institute of Health. This would be one many such grants awarded to John Money. The first grant from the US government was awarded in 1957. He continued to receive taxpayer funding until 2005, just one year before his death in 2006.
Curiously, the year that the GIC at Johns Hopkins was shut down was the same year that WPATH was officially founded. In 1979, WPATH was known as the Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association (HBIGDA).
John Money pioneered chemical castration. He worked with WPATH’s first official president, after its founding in 1979, the social psychologist Paul Allen Walker.
Walker was operating a sex offender treatment program at the University of Texas Medical Branch. During that same period, Walker also ran the Gender Clinic at UTMB.
Walker’s work with sex offenders involved experimenting with and observing the link between hormones and sexual drive. Walker and Money spearheaded the use of Depo-Provera as a form of chemical castration in an attempt to suppress the urges of sex offenders.
Their goal was to discover a reversible alternative to surgical castration methods for recidivist sex offenders, with chemical castration via anti-androgens and synthetic estrogens being presented as a means of lowering the libido while patients underwent psychotherapy.
Through gender identity ideology, we now have a situation where children are being chemically castrated with drugs that prohibit the production of their sex hormones.
This means that the fundamental basis for what is called “transgender health” comes directly from research conducted with pedophiles and sex offenders.
This means that the same methods used as treatments for pedophiles - chemical castration - are, thanks to gender ideology, given to children to halt their puberty.
The pornographic fictional stories of the Eunuch Archive have, at least in the promotion of castrating children, become a disturbing reality.
Is it any wonder then, that gender identity ideology does, not in theory but in fact, elevate the rights of pedophiles and sex offenders above the rights of women and children?
A report released by the Canadian Correctional Service in 2022 revealed that 82% of “gender diverse” prisoners with a history of sexual offending were men who identified as “trans women.”
Almost all, at 94%, had committed their offenses while “living as their biological sex.”
The majority, 85%, committed offenses that caused death or serious harm to their victims while 70% inflicted psychological harm on their victims.
Over half of the victims were children (58%) or female — women and girls.
And of course, Canada, as well as the United States, has been placing sex offenders in women’s prisons, citing Standards of Care issued by WPATH in every single legal case that has come forward regarding the “gender dysphoria” of these predatory men.
It is my view that the term “gender dysphoria” is a deliberately sex-neutral term, intended to obfuscate sexual differences and which includes women and children under its diagnosis in order to offer cover for men with an obsessive and pedophilic interest in castration.
Women and children are the collateral damage in the movement to advance opportunities for sexual predators to either access victims, or to act out their fetish publicly.
Transgenderism, and transsexualism, involves adult men with castration fetishes advocating for the chemical castration of children, and therefore, it is inherently pedophilic.
Gender identity ideology reduces women under the law to a male sexual fetish. It actually supplants women’s humanity and replaces it with protections for men with sexual pathologies. Anywhere that gender identity is codified, women are legally redefined as a pornographic fetish, and men who view us this way are granted more rights than we are.
Gender identity ideology legalizes sexual crimes such as voyeurism and exhibitionism, and promotes sexually sadomasochistic men as heroes and mentors for children.
It is a movement and theory born out of sympathy for male sex offenders which disregards and degrades the rights of women and children, and it is incompatible with a society that values the humanity and dignity of women and children.
Thank you for your amazing work over the years. The information in this post needs to be presented in a high-quality documentary film, with you as an executive producer. It's too long and simply too shocking for many people to absorb in written form, but a powerfully produced film could bring the truth home. I am just putting that out there as a vision, in case there are any donors who could help make this happen.
You are a brave truth-teller, and your resourcefulness in sussing out this information is so impressive. Bless you for all you have done! I am sure it is not easy, and I am sure many hate you. But most would say that you deserve a medal! Please keep up this vital work.
