A trans-identified male who pled guilty to second-degree murder of his former cellmate has filed multiple lawsuits against officials with the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC), as well as the state’s governor, seeking over $1 billion in compensation for “medical neglect.” Andre Cashmere Patterson, also known as Janiah Monroe, is also seeking a reduction in his sentence.
"Perhaps bizarrely, governor Pritzker, a wealthy billionaire who routinely champions the belief in “gender identity” and who has used his political position to enshrine the belief into law, has not mentioned the legal complaints against him by Patterson, nor has he advocated for his clemency."
“a guilty plea for second-degree murder in the killing of his former cellmate in 2006 while in a men’s prison.” This says it all. The law is now sponsoring institutional torture against women.it’s state sponsored terror pretending to be ‘social justice’.
"Meyer was seeking to obtain records regarding Patterson’s behavior while incarcerated in order to substantiate the woman’s allegations of sexual abuse, but was denied access to the information by the court."
I'm not a lawyer, but surely this can be appealed to a higher court?
This sounds like abject judicial stonewalling, of the kind that has become de rigueur among judges across the country, regarding everything from TROs against executive orders to the stripping of inalienable rights from women and men who oppose, or simply are forced to bend the knee to, this new religion.
One has to become a lawyer before ascending to the role of judge. How can so many officers of the court so blatantly disregard law and human decency to protect these predators?
Hanging has been described as cruel and unusual, because of the risk of it failing to kill the person in one go.
Hence, I can't understand why any government, since the invention of the guillotine, apart from being in a location too remote to access one, a problem largely confined to the past, has tried any other mode of execution.
The electric chair must be the most ghastly, torturous and expensive example of such. Yet, gas chambers and lethal injection are also not 'foolproof' in their effectiveness.
The guillotine, however, is pretty difficult to mess up, and almost instantaneous. It may seem gory, but executions are inherently macabre. Why pretend they are anything but?
this guy reminds me of Israel - they do anything they want and get away with it. And how do crooks like Pritzker get into power like that ? Who votes for this criminal ?
I wonder if this has been directly reported to Harmeet Dhillon at the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ...? I think she would loudly stand up for the rights of the women and file suit against Illinois and these prison officials.
You have to respect liberals' ceaseless vigilance in their quest to make the results of their irrational and evil decisions disappear. And there's an entire system of legislative, judicial, and executive government to make it happen. Congrats Illinois! You can vie with CA and NY and the dumbest, least reasonable places in the country! My state of MD is right there with you.
housing this dude with any woman is a hate crime against women. when another crime is committed in association, the added hate crime charge should be made against the state of IL.
just as communists imagine everyone working toegther in a fantacy of utopia and their dreams are ruined by ppl who dont pull their weight, take advantage of the system or gum up the works by restricting service or supplies, gender activist dreams are ruined when ppl take advantage of the opportunities they facilitate

A rapist complaining about "being treated like a predator". What next? The pope complaining about being treated like a catholic?
“He claims this punitive measure has caused him to attempt suicide more than 30 times.”
He’s obviously not very good at it. Maybe that’s what he really needs help with.
I agree. We'd all be better off.
And yet they persist with this fantastical cult! Sweet Justice that he’s trying to sue Pritzker
If you ever had doubts about the ACLU before this . . .
He and Chase Strangio should share a cell.
We need $1 billion judgment by the woman against the state of Illinois for their policies enabling this.

Cost of public hanging to taxpayers; $400.
Cost of ridiculous, years long legal proceedings to takpayers; $1m and up, with no cap.
He/ she/ it has already raped and killed. Why don’t we go retro & make the world a better place?

Please JB, don't run for POTUS. Appreciate your excoriation of the "Do nothing Democrats" but your gender obsession makes you unfit for the office.

Maybe the 31st try will be successful.

Male tranizoids belong only in male prisons. Or executed.
He could be helped with castration.
